Welcome!

It’s all real and it’s all illusory: that’s awareness!
— Ram Dass

This space has been created to facilitate the (re)discovery of your embodied experience, to (re)connect with your artistry and fullest expression. As singers and performing artists, we are often told to use our bodies as instruments, but we often the means of doing that are based in someone else’s experience. Moreover, we are more than a mechanical conglomeration of individual parts. As a result, our own rich internal experience becomes dimmer and dimmer, leading to an alienation of our embodied self.

At the core of all of this, is a transdisciplinary evidence-based embodiment process that aims to put you back in the center of your vocal and artistic development, blending the theories and practices that have anchored my teaching for over a decade.

In other words, the process starts with you, where you are at.

Thus, empowering you to be an equal contributor to your artistic and vocal development.

My aim is to:

  • Facilitate the exploration and embodiment of your internal dynamic landscape, and the development of a language to communicate that to others (i.e.: your teachers, coaches, mentors, other artists, etc.).

  • Nurture a healthy curiosity about your body, your experience, and embodied artistic expression.

  • Show you possibilities rather than prescribed formulas or limitations of your body.

  • Make singing and performing easier and more satisfying on a physical, mental, and emotional level.

Here you will find tools to begin a somatic research process, where we can collectively work to produce and transmit embodied knowledge for singing and performing artists.

Together, we can create access to strategies that facilitate development of embodied and authentic performances, for yourself and for others in our communities.
